NEEDED
Cabbage, 250 g
Moong dal, 50 g
Coconut, 1/2 moodi
Vara Milakai (red), 2
Jeerakam, 1/2 tsp
Haldi, Salt
Thalikka -- Kadugu, Uluththam Paruppu, hing
METHOD
Grate the coconut.
Shred the cabbage.
Add cabbage, moong dal, haldi, salt in the pressure cooker. Cook for 1 whistle.
Grind coconut, Vara milakai, jeerakam into a fine paste.
Add this paste to the cooked cabbage and bring to a boil.
Thaliththu kottavum.
