Raajma Soup

RAAJMA SOUP

1/4 cup rajma, 1 cup chopped onions, 3 cloves garlic, 1 1/2 cups tomatos chopped, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 1/2 tsp oil, salt to taste


FOR SERVING : Finely chopped tomatoes, chopped spring onions, Chopped Capsicum.

METHOD :

Wash the rajma and soak in water overnight. Next morning, drain thoroughly.

Heat oil, add onions, garlic, and fry for a minute or two. Add tomatoes, chilli powder, salt and fry again for a minute. Add rajma and six cups of water and cook in a pressure cooker. Blend in a mixie to a smooth paste. DO NOT DRAIN. Add lemon juice. Serve hot with tomatoes, capsicum.
