Peas Kurma


Peas 2 cups
Onion 1/4 chopped
Dhania powder 2 tsp
Jeeraga powder 1 tsp
Milagai powder 2 tsp
haldi 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp

For Paste
Onion 1 chopped
tomatoes 2 large size
Coconout, grated 2 tbsp
Grambu 3
Lavanga Pattai 1 inch long
Poondu 4 pal
Ginger 1 inch

For Seasoning
Jeeragam, Kadugu, Kariveppilai 1 tsp each

Heat oil, saute the items (for paste) one by one.
Allow to cool and then make a paste in the mixie.
Add oil and saute the items for seasoning.
Add the paste.
Add dhania powder, mirchi powder. haldi powder, salt.
Add peas along with 1 1/2 cups water, bring to boil.
Simmer for 5 minutes. Add koththamalli thazhai.
